Promoting Menstrual Hygiene in Abuja Schools

In celebration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2024, the Nery Developmental Initiative (NDI) and Miss Face of Humanity Nigeria (MFOH Nigeria) organized an event at Government Science Secondary School, Tungan Maje, Abuja.

Led by Amb. Rita Chika Ezenwa, NDI founder and reigning Miss Face of Humanity Nigeria, the initiative educated students on menstrual hygiene and addressed period poverty. The event, themed “#PeriodFriendlyWorld,” included interactive sessions, open discussions, and the distribution of menstrual pads to 500 female students.

Supported by the FCT Secondary Education Board, this impactful event aims to foster a period-friendly environment and empower young people with essential knowledge and resources.
